Tiruchendur,is a significant coastal town in the Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu, most famous for the Arulmigu Subramania Swamy Temple. This temple is uniquely situated on the shores of the Bay of Bengal and is the second of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of Lord Murugan.
